This is the first prototype of Mischer’Traxlers lamp called ‘Relumine’, which means ‘to illuminate again’. The Vienna-based duo presented this piece at the show ‘Bulb Fiction’ at Klaus Engelhorn Depot.

The prototype consists of two classic table lamps, joint with a long fluorescent tube. A simple idea, executed beautifully, which reminds me of a Sci-fi sword. I really hope this will go into production.

The exhibition is open till the 29th October and is also part of the Vienna Design Week, which ends on Sunday.
