cygalle shapiro – put a sheet of paper between the large serving platters and you got new plates

lianne kuijpers – wall covering inspired by the appearance of the human body translated into rubber

celestine briet – birdhouses made of pressed leaves

hung-pin hsueh – system for using taiwan cypress driftwood as an architectural building material

on this sunny day I went to the nai, netherlands architecture institute, in maastricht for the opening of the ‘nl=new luxury’ exhibition. the show is curated by alexander van slobbe, fashion designer and creative director of the design academy eindhoven. since april 1st 2009 the nai operates independently as the naim/bureau europa, an organisation for architecture and design.

find the ABOUT link on the right side …

… and the video appears!
